Bio
Susann is a two-times winner of the Rinehart Sculpture Scholarship whose recent USA shows include those at the Red Door Gallery, Sol Cooper Gallery, and at Tribes Gallery in New York.
Taking a sincere and curious approach to creating her work, Susann will spend hours wandering through thrift stores, searching through people’s discarded things. “It’s in my process of accumulating, tearing, cutting dipping, arranging, and organising where I try to discover the potency of each piece. Whether fantasy or real, associations can be elegant and brutal, humorous and tragic, permanent and impermanent just as in love and in life.”
